Brain Spurt.

So everyone talks about growth spurts, but after observing Evi these last few days, I think there must be such a thing as a brain spurt. During these last three days, not only has she been completely diaper free for hours on end (with no accidents!), she has also begun to roll to her side, mastered the fine art of thumb sucking, and started interacting much more with objects around her. She is beginning to reach for toys and just seems much more visually stimulated by things around her. She is more content to lay by herself with less need to be held. Sad, I know. My baby is growing up!

The baby is getting beautiful every day. I can't wait to meet the newest member of the family. We hope to see you all for Christmas. My mom says she also used to suck on her thumb (until she ways 20). Mama Ana says if you were wondering where Evi got it from, there's your explanation. Keep us posted :-)

Congrats on your daughter's developmental leap! I was just asking a friend yesterday if it was possible for babies to do that. My daughter has really gotten the hang of communicating back when we sign to her and the joy when she knows the message has gotten through to us leads to great smiles and her very first giggles. She is starting to work that thumb, hopefully she figures it out completely soon. The rolling has happened before but now it is intentional. I had to go on a trip for a funeral and Keller even wanted to potty up there. Keep up the good work.
